History of the
Program
The Doctor of
Communication Arts (The New Program)
B.E.2561 aims to produce “doctoral
students” to be researchers,
academics, or executives in a field of
communication who have academic
knowledge and expertise in their
profession. It emphasises that the
graduates of the programs must have
thorough understanding of the Thai
context and are able to efficiently and
ethically apply their knowledge for the
benefits of the whole society and the
country. Moreover, the program also
intends to produce the graduates to be
valuable human resources who have a
broad vision, are able to adjust
themselves, and have true understanding
of media in the age of integrated media.
These graduates must be ready to use
their knowledge to lead and drive the
country to a direction that is
consistent with the Thai society context
and ways of life of Thai people.
